I had an amazing time talking about and signing purchased books. Cynthia and Berny Davis, owners of Back-To-Basic Bookstore, were wonderful hosts. I met a lot of wonderful people and I enjoyed sharing with all of them! One lucky shopper won a beautiful pearl necklace and earring set.

Coming March 2019 - New Book Series!

I had an AMAZING time with the 100+ women attending the Christ Our Redeemer AME Women's Bible Study and culminating Tea Party!! It was a wonderful experience! Photos: www.glbamechurches.org

I had a awesome time sharing the evening with some very special ladies who attended the Woman At the Well Woman’s Conference 2014 at Imani AME Church. I was the featured speaker on Friday evening. I conducted a workshop entitled: Let It Go and Move Forward. I talked about how you can’t move forward successfully if you are constantly looking in the rear view mirror of your past. The women completed the Rear View Mirror exercise from the It’s in the House: Workbook. We talked about strategies on how to get unstuck – how to get free from memories and behaviors that bind us to the past and blind us to our future best selves.

After the workshop, we had delicious hors d’oeuvres. I signed books and truly enjoyed meeting everyone! Thank you to Rev. Sheila Rivers and Lisa Ross for inviting me to speak at the event! The entire evening was a huge success and I had a truly amazing time!

My first book signing and workshop!
